Early morning Bank Holiday Felixstowe seafront stroll :)

After three hectic days windsurfing at three different venues it was nice to wake up to crystal clear skies and next to no wind. as it is Bank Holiday and bound to get busy Mag and I decided to make the most of the perfect weather and headed down to the prom for a stroll at 6.30:) We had a lovely chat is a couple who had been self isolating for weeks, not having left their flat but after Dominics Cummings epec lock down adventures up North they said 'sod it' we are going for a walk and left home at 5.30 for a long walk along the prom and good luck to them!!! Then down on the prom we turned left towards the Fludgers and were pleasantly surprised bu how lovely and quiet it was, certainly the best time to be on the prom, the only downside being the broken glass and litter left by the weekend oafs, sadly you just can't help stupid!!! Apart from that there was was great people out and about enjoying the perfect weather, several Stand up paddle boarders and a canoe making the most of the calm sea, open water swimmers, dogs chasing balls or paddling, cyclists and joggers but not enough to cause a problem so no need for the covid dance along the prom this morning! The Spa gardens looked amazing in full bloom, we even spotted a Robin with blackbirds and starlings feeding in the grass. I stopped at loads of places along the route to take pis. There was even two huge container ships leaving Felixstowe docks to add to the entertainment! We made it to the end of the concrete prom at Jacobs ladder, then back through the gardens, up onto the cliff top and home for breakfast in the garden, top start to the day :)
